Jiangyin Shenda Group and Brückner sign major contract in presence of Chinese Premier and German Chancellor
Brückner, the German world-wide market leader for film stretching lines and Jiangyin Shenda Group, one of China's leading film producers, have signed a key contract for a new BOPET film production project. With this Shenda will be able to significantly expand their BOPET capacity from currently 20,000 tons to 60,000 tons per year.
The contract signing ceremony between Brückner`s Chief Operating Officer Ludwig Eckart and Shenda`s chairman Zhang Guo Ping took place at the Great Hall of the People in
Beijing. It was attended by the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and the German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, on his latest visit to China.
In the last years over 50% of Brückner's orders have come from China. Since 1962 more than 60 Chinese customers have invested approximately one billion Euro in over 100 Brückner lines. Brückner is present in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Hongkong and Jiangyin.
In addition to the Shenda project, Brückner is currently negotiating further projects totaling an investment in excess of 50 million €. The company is confident that they will receive positive feedback for these negotiations, due to the fact that Germany's highest institutions have reaffirmed Brückner to be a trustworthy and reliable premium partner.
