The first project to produce oriented polystyrene film (BOPS) in the CIS states is in good progress. Brückner started delivery of the line for the FPUE “Multipack” (Alcopack group) plant in Gomel, Belarus. In addition a spezialized education and training programme for “Multipack” staff members has started at Brückner`s technology center in Siegsdorf.

The 4.2m line in 3-layer configuration will be able to produce up to 20,000 tons of bi-axially or mono-axially oriented high-quality PS film and sheet annually. Applications for these sheets and films are: Thermoforming products such as food containers, twist-wrap packaging film, window envelopes, labels, sleeves.
