2nd Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Conference in Mumbai

Brückner Maschinenbau contributes substantially to a fantastic event

India’s plastics industry is definitely on the rise and the Indian market is one of the most exciting worldwide. The 2nd Speciality Films and Flexible Packaging Conference from 29^th - 30^th August at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai was another clear indication for this development. More than 700 delegates from 337 companies and 21 countries enjoyed an ambitious two-day-programme with several sessions and more than 50 top expert speakers talking about key packaging technology, latest industry trends as well as future business challenges in the flexible packaging industry.   Perfectly organized by CPMA, the Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association and Elite Plus⁺⁺, a conference management group, the event also was the ideal place to network with senior delegates and experts from the entire flexible packaging industry.   Johann Kreilinger, Brückner’s Senior Sales Manager, presented recent developments from the world of biaxial film orientation. His topics – higher efficiency and reduced production costs, value-added specialty films or lower energy consumption – were well received and keenly discussed at the always frequented Brückner booth outside the conference room. Together with his colleagues of the sales team in charge for the Indian Subcontinent, Xaver Sedlmeier and Ghanshyam Shilamkar, he had numerous promising business talks at the sideline.   Brückner Maschinenbau is proud to have contributed to such an outstanding event as a major partner – and will surely be back for a third conference of this kind.
