When Mukhiddin Normatov, General Director of Sirdaryo Mega Luks LLC in Uzbekistan had the country’s first line for the manufacturing of biaxially oriented film in mind, that was a very courageous idea. But having a vision means imagining a picture of the future that evokes passion. And so the dream has now come true: the 6.6m wide 5-layer BOPP line has started successfully! It is the first BO line ever in Uzbekistan and the first of its kind in Central Asia, covering the entire spectrum of A-grade food as well as non-food flexible packaging.
Mukhiddin Normatov (General Director) says: “From the very beginning it was clear that this investment would only be successful with the reliable partner by our side. And we needed an all-round carefree package. Luckily, we found both with Brückner: the partner and the package. Now we are so proud that we were able to realize such a challenging project in our country within the budget and time frame.”
Already in the early phase, Brückner Maschinenbau offered extensive support providing market surveys, feasibility analyses and project studies, and also set up a financing using the German government's export promotion program ("Hermes"). At the heart of the entire project is the film stretching line, of course. However, Brückner also delivered comprehensive peripheral equipment such as energy supply systems, cranes, slitters, metallizer, and much more.
