That the Indonesian market for 2018 is on the rise was evident by the increasing interest from leading film producers and potential newcomers for Brückner’s latest film production technology. The joint Brückner Group booth, with Brückner Maschinenbau, Brückner Servtec, Kiefel and Bosch Sprang, was alive with visitors at this year’s most important event for the plastics industry in Indonesia, the 30th International Plastics & Rubber in Jakarta.
“Brückner’s latest technology, and in particular the production of specialty films were in the focus, such as BOPP ultra high barrier film or BOPA simultaneous film for very specific and high end applications. Besides this, mounting demand for oriented films, for e.g. food packaging applications, is being fueled by Indonesia’s ever-increasing urbanization. This was reflected by the huge interest to expand in new production capacities with highly efficient, economical, and state-of-the-art BO lines,” says Xaver Sedlmeier, chief representative at Brückner Far East Ltd in Jakarta.
