“Finetech Japan” in Tokyo is the world`s largest event for the FPD (flat panel display) industry. Although this year`s event was generally less frequented due to the present economic situation, Brückner’s booth in cooperation with Itochu Sanki, partner for the Japanese market, was visited by representatives from virtually every film producer in Japan.
Numerous well-founded discussions focused on the presented solutions for films aimed at the optical industry:
Production of high performance BOPET film
Unparalleled solutions for optical film grades up to 400 µm
Worldwide unique heavy duty roller bearing system FOK 5.6
Simultaneous stretching: LISIM® - advanced linear motor technology
No restriction with regard to output and speed – in contrast to mechanical simultaneous systems
Contact free stretching for superior surface properties
Unique and flexible stretching, relaxation and retardation ratios
Wide range of applications, e.g. polarizer film, retard film or protection film
Several features for first-class optical films: low bowing and even film properties, low and balanced shrink, high dimensional stability
Trend-setting cast film technology
Special cast film lines for masking films
In many conversations our dialogue partners also valued our broad array of innovations for the processing of high temperature films used within the textile industry, for membranes in the medical sector and for flexible printed circuits and insulations.
Brückner would like to thank all customers and friends for visiting the booth, discussing markets and projects. We will be back for Finetech Japan 2010, April 14 – 16.
