The Indian Subcontinent is an important market for Brückner. To assure an optimal service presence for the numerous Brückner customers and film producers in this region, “Brückner Machinery and Service India Pvt. Ltd.” was incorporated in Pune, Maharashtra in January. The new office is in a central distance to all major line locations.  Managing Director Mr. S.V. Amlekar states: “Our customers will benefit from our flexibility to travel on short notice. Thus, we will be able to follow up our partners` needs quickly. Our team will provide active support at first hand, focussing on the service and project support to Indian customers, but also to lines being located in neighbouring countries.” Mr. Amlekar started his career with Garware Polyester Ltd. and was responsible for major upgrading and modernisation projects of BOPET lines. In his recent position as a vice president of an Indian division of the US headquartered company Pall Corporation, he successfully developed the filter business throughout the Indian polymer industry.
