Xiamen Changsu accelerates global expansion with first Brückner line outside China
Xiamen Changsu Industrial Co., Ltd., China’s largest BOPA film producer and a pioneer in this field, has now successfully commissioned its first BOPA line outside the country. After operating several Brückner film stretching lines in China, it’s a major step beyond its core market. With this latest-generation BO line up and running in Indonesia, Xiamen Changsu is well-positioned to serve customers worldwide and unlock new market potential.

Brückner and Xiamen Changsu share a long-standing and trusted partnership. However, this project marks a true first: implementing a joint project outside China is unprecedented in their history.
Reinhard Priller, Sales Director at Brückner Maschinenbau, emphasizes: “We are proud to celebrate this successful start-up with Xiamen. Completing installation and commissioning in just five and a half months highlights the excellent teamwork and marks a significant step forward for the common BOPA business.”
As part of our investment strategy a new site beyond China is an important step. This is the first BOPA line we have successfully implemented at our Indonesian site – and more will follow in cooperation with Brückner.
Thanks to their excellent moisture and oxygen barrier properties and high puncture resistance, biaxially oriented polyamide films (BOPA) are the ideal solution for fatty, oily, and highly aromatic products, as well as for frozen food, medical applications, and battery components.
These films are highly sought after by leading packaging manufacturers and brand owners worldwide. With this successful start-up, Xiamen Changsu further strengthens its position as a global leader in BOPA production.
