Flake Dosing in the Extrusion Sector
Production waste is continuously generated during ongoing film production. Thanks to our sophisticated flake dosing process, up to 30% of production waste and edge trim can be returned to the film production extrusion process in the form of simple regrind. This significantly reduces the use of raw materials and, compared to conventional in-house recycling processes, also reduces energy consumption.

Roller Control Dynamics in the Longitudinal Stretching Unit (MDO)
In the first process step of MDO, the film is stretched lengthwise. This enables us to offer our customers the greatest possible flexibility in this stretching process because the drive technology of the corresponding stretch rollers are designed to be so variable that up to three stretching gaps can be set. At the same time, pressure rollers ensure that the film does not slip and that no air gets between the film and the stretch roller, so that neither the mechanical film quality nor the surface is impaired.
The line therefore combines enables maximum flexibility with high production quality.

Air Nozzle Control
Thanks to an innovative air nozzle control system, which blows warm air onto the film from below and above, the film can be heated particularly evenly and can then be stretched to a width of up to 12 meters. This optimized heat transfer in the oven guarantees our customers a high-quality film with the properties required for the production process, even at high production speeds of up to 700 m/min.
Transport System
The sliding chain track system guides the film safely through the oven even at high production speeds of up to 700 m/min enabling optimal stretching in the width direction from the original 1 to 1.4 meters to a width of up to 12 meters. During its development, attention was paid to ensuring long service life for the chain system despite the increased speed and, at the same time, keeping operating costs low. This provides our customers with a system that requires little maintenance.

Heat Recovery
Heat Recovery
The heat required for the TD stretching is fed back into the production process thanks to an intelligent heat recovery system. This saves energy and minimizes exhaust air emissions. This is one of the measures we take towards a CO2-neutral line concept.
Mill Roll Diameter on the Winder
Our BOPP lines are the most powerful on the market, enabling an annual production of over 90,000 tons. To wind the finished film without having to change the winder rollers too frequently, we developed the industry's largest mill roll with a diameter of 2.4 meters. This guarantees maximum stability during winding and thus minimizes the risk of film tearing. The maximum load capacity per roller is 49 tons which enables high productivity with consistent film values.

We offer our customers reliable, tried-and-tested film stretching systems. To this end, we intensively test new components and optimize existing machines. At our Innovation Test Center in Siegsdorf, we test all the key elements for perfect film production - for quality that is “Made in Germany.”
