Production Lines for
Composite Current
Collector Film
Composite current collector films are an innovative technology that improves battery safety and increases energy density, throughput and long-term stability. These films are a genuine substitute and offer more advantages over conventional aluminum or copper current collectors: reduced weight and costs or a longer service life. The safety aspect is even more important – especially in the military sector.
The biaxial stretching technology has proven to be the best when it comes to composite current collector base film production. Depending on the requirements, the appropriate concept is used.
Brückner Maschinenbau offers both proven technologies: sequential and simultaneous. They are meanwhile accepted by the industry and used in several high priced EVs.
