New CPP line makes big splash at Brückner conference

The Brückner Group successfully held a two-day conference at its premises in Siegsdorf . Everyone agreed that seeing Brückner Formtecs newest, innovative CPP line in full operation was the absolute highlight of the conference.


Under the watchful eyes of some 150 attendees, all of whom work for some of the world's biggest names in the CPP- and also the biax-film industry, the new CPP line was shown and run in public in full operation for the very first time. The results were greeted by rave reviews and enthused everyone present.


In addition to this, Brückner Group's entire range of services, including their expanded laboratory line, the film laboratory, as well as the research facilities were on display for anyone interested to cast an eye on. The conference program was completed by a wide range of expert presentations and first-rate demonstrations regarding film industry matters.

During the demonstration run, speeds of up to 300 m/min at a film thickness of 10 µm were acclaimed by many of the visiting international film specialists.


The highly successful wet test is convincing evidence, which supports Brückner Formtec's market approach to supply solutions: satisfy the rising demand for sophisticated and high capacity CPP lines and ensure profitable film production.


The line will now be delivered to one of China's biggest film producers , who will be using the line to produce A-grade CPP films.
