Max Speciality Films teams up with Brückner again

The 8.7m wide 5-layer BOPP line is built for special applications

Founded in 1990, Indian Max Speciality Films Limited (MSFL) has gained global recognition as a leading BOPP film producer. The company’s vast range includes BOPP films for packaging for processed foods, confectionery, fast moving consumer and industrial goods as well as films for labelling and graphic art lamination. For its new 5th production line they teamed up again with Brückner Maschinenbau.

The 8.7m wide 5-layer BOPP line is built for specialty films and has a capacity of above 40,000 tons per year. The line layout is very versatile and allows a wide range of special products, e.g. high value labels, barrier and other high performance packaging films using Max Speciality Films’ own formulae. As Jaideep Wadhwa, CEO of MSFL states: “We are very pleased to work with the professional team of Brückner again, who are supporting us in our specialty journey.”

With their new line MSFL will strengthen their leading position in the specialty packaging film industry and will significantly enlarge their currently installed capacity of 54,000 tonnes per annum.

Max Speciality Films Limited is a subsidiary of Max Venture & Industries Limited, a part of the Max Group, a USD 2-billion conglomerate with major stakes in insurance, healthcare and senior living in addition to packaging. The Group is headquartered in New Delhi, has over 300 offices spread across India and employs over 70,000 persons.
