Cosmo Films breaks into BOPET film market – with Brückner at their side

Latest machine technology, excellent process know-how and project execution

Today, Cosmo Films Limited is one of the largest BOPP film manufacturers in the world. The India-based global group has been continuously setting benchmarks within the industry. A recent example is India’s first 10.4m wide BOPP line, successfully producing high quality films with unrivaled overall profitability at Cosmo’s Karjan plant site near Vadodara.

Now Cosmo is breaking into the BOPET film market – and once again is teaming up with Brückner Maschinenbau. Mr. Pankaj Poddar, CEO of Cosmo Films, says: “When we decided to enlarge our product portfolio with BOPET films we had a precise catalogue of requirements regarding our stretching line supplier. The most important factors for us were advanced machine technology, excellent process know-how and super project execution. All this we found at Brückner and we are happy to approach our BOPET market entry together with our proven, long-term partner.”

The new production line will be installed at Cosmo’s location in Aurangabad, next to the existing factory building and is aimed to produce various finest BOPET films for both domestic and export markets.
