Brückner’s newest BOPP film stretching line yields 6.300 kg/h

Polyplex and Brückner join forces and set new performance benchmark

Polyplex Corporation Ltd., one of the world’s largest producers of thin polyester film, with manufacturing facilities in India, Thailand and Turkey are taking their first step into the field of BOPP film production with Brückner at their side. As a result of this cooperation, they will be establishing an appropriate performance benchmark: the recently ordered 8.7 m line will be the world’s most powerful BOPP line to date, with a net output of 6.300 kg per hour, while running at line speeds of more than 500 m/min. The line will be equipped with a high performance twin-screw main extrusion system from KraussMaffei Berstorff, a world leader in extrusion technology, and corona treatment stations from Softal.

Among the key factors for Polyplex to decide in favor of Brückner were:

According to Polyplex, the high quality polypropylene film produced on the new line will contribute significantly to satisfy India’s continuously growing demand, e.g for tapes and textile packaging, lamination- and metalisable films.
