At Chinaplas 2013 Brückner Maschinenbau received a clear sign from the Chinese plastics film producers: Trend-setting added value films are sought after as an attractive alternative to commodity products. And that was exactly what Brückner presented at the show: the latest, market-oriented solutions for high value film for growth markets.

In numerous discussions Brückner customers as well as new investors got a deep insight in

  • Simultaneous technology for high value film: Flexibility, reduced energy consumption and a very stable and smooth running without mechanical constraints – Brückner’s unique LISIM technology at its latest model  is a perfect match for all high end films such as thin and thinnest gauge PP or PET capacitor films, mulitlayer BOPA films or many other substrates.
  • Highly flexible & productive manufacturing of battery separator film: Brückner’s industrial line concept has already been purchased by leading battery separator film manufacturers. At Chinaplas visitors learned more details about the latest developments relating to Brückner’s unique semi-dry EVAPORE® process, which ensures unmatched production efficiency, high yield, consistent film quality and lowest energy costs.
  • Advanced concepts for growth markets: Brückner’s latest technologies help film producers to meet the fast-growing demand for various kinds of added-value special films such as up to 9-layer BOPP barrier film, various thin-gauge BOPET films of less than 3µm as well as industrial and optical applications up to 400µm or trendy shrink films, manufactured  in- and off-line
  • Sustainable film production: Solutions how to reduce energy consumption, waste, raw material usage and CO2 emissions – all in line with industry needs and the current Chinese twelfth five-year development plan

A real business show highlight was the contract signing for two new high speed 8.7 m BOPP lines with a major, renowned, long-term customer of Brückner Maschinenbau.
