Convertech Japan 2010, part of the “9th Converting & Advanced Printing Machinery and Materials Exhibition and Conference” in Tokyo, was visited by representatives from all major film producers in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Brückner’s booth in cooperation with Itochu Sanki, major partner for the Japanese market, was well frequented.
Many discussions focused on the presented solutions for films aimed at the optical industry:
Unparalleled technology for high performance BOPET film grades up to 400 µm
Simultaneous stretching with the patented LISIM®-technology ensuring low bowing and even film properties, low and balanced shrink as well as high dimensional stability
Special cast film lines for masking films
In numerous conversations our visitors were also highly interested in our broad array of innovations for the processing of high temperature films used within the textile industry, for membranes in the medical sector and for flexible printed circuits and insulations. Additionally Brückner’s unique line layouts - sequential or simultaneous - for the production of first grade Polyamide films have been evaluated.
In summary it became clear that Brückner’s advanced stretching and extrusion technologies are important supports for all substrates used in the wide field of optical and industrial applications.
Brückner would like to thank all customers and friends for visiting the booth, discussing market developments and projects.
