Brückner at Aseanplas 2005

Growing demand for speciality film lines and CPP extrusion

Due to a certain saturation within the markets for biaxially oriented commodity films, film producers and converters all over the world are aspiring to meet the growing demand for a variety of speciality films. During Aseanplas, visitors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, India and Bangladesh got brand new information about Brückner`s new process technologies for speciality films, e.g. high-barrier 5- and 7-layer films, in-line and off-line shrink film lines for labels and sleeves. Moreover upgradings for existing lines to push efficiency, increase quality and reduce energy consumption have been widely discussed.

There was also an overwhelming interest in Brückner Formtec and their latest concepts for CPP lines, aiming at rapidly growing market for cast polypropylene film . Numerous passionate discussions additionally proved that Formtec`s solutions for the processing of APET by means of twin screw technology without the necessity of pre-drying the raw material exactly meet the needs of the Asian film industry.
