The International Plastic Fair (IPF), held in Japan every 3 years, is considered to be one of the most important trade shows for the plastics industry, along with the K show in Germany, NPE in the USA and Chinaplas. This year’s show in Tokyo from Nov.7 to Nov. 11 again filled the eight halls at the “Makuhari Messe” exhibition grounds.
Brückner’s booth in cooperation with Itochu Sanki, partner for the Japanese market, was frequented by a great number of visitors from virtually every film producer in Japan. Moreover, many visitors from Korea, P.R. China, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan and Europe gave a further international touch.
Despite the fact that the financial turmoil over the past weeks has meanwhile also hit Japan, enthusiasm for the Brückner product range - high-end technology for the production of added value films - was immense, especially in terms of unique solutions for films aimed at the optical industry.
