China: Taizhou Nanyang produces finest optical thick film up to 400 µm
The long-standing Brückner customer Zhejiang Taizhou Nanyang Technology Co., Ltd., a private joint-stock company, is one of China’s most innovative producers of high-tech films for various technical applications, such as capacitors or Li-Ion batteries. The company also operates the world’s widest BOPP capacitor line with 6.4 m working width – supplied by Brückner.
Taizhou Nanyang has now successfully entered the BOPET thick film business with the smooth start-up of their brand-new Brückner line. With an output of up to 3,600 kilos per hour for various thicknesses between 100 µm and 400 µm the 5.8 m wide 3-layer line convinces with top efficiency, film quality and flexibility. The innovative Brückner line also includes the latest energy-saving features, giving Taizhou Nanyang a competitive advantage in terms of production costs.
The fact that saleable film was on the winder shortly after start-up strengthens Zhejiang Taizhou Nanyang Technology’s position within China’s specialty film business and proves once again Brückner’s leading competence in building and commissioning BOPET thick film lines.
Pakistan: A perfect line start enables Astro-Pack to conquer the BOPET film market
With the highly successful start-up of their first BOPET film production line the Karachi based company Astro Plastics (Pvt ) Ltd. (known as Astro-Pack) – the plastics division of Ismail Industries Ltd., Pakistan – has considerably expanded their manufacturing capabilities. In August the BOPET line was started and from the very first day top-quality films have been produced – and sold to top packaging companies in Pakistan and abroad.
The Brückner BOPET line’s high flexibility provides Astro-Pack with a huge potential to meet Pakistan’s fast-growing demand for many kinds of BOPET films – from various thin-gauge packaging to medium-thickness films up to 125 µm for technical use or fashion industry applications, e.g. sequins and metallic yarns.
