Contract for a further BOPP film production line for the Russian market


The British consortium on behalf of HilltonGate Ltd., London, has recently signed a contract with Brückner for a further BOPP film production line for the Russian market. The ordered line will have a nameplate capacity of 18.000 tons per year.


The international investor group is operating successfully in different manufacturing industries in Russia. As a renowned consumer of a considerable amount of BOPP film and in pursuance to pre-marketing research, HilltonGate possesses profound expertise. In conjunction with the process expertise rendered by Brückner, the new production line technology features all prerequisites to warrant that the demands emanating from the export markets are successfully fulfilled.


Line technology and design is based on joint development by both parties giving particular emphasis not only to attain maximum productivity and reliability but also to ensure product flexibility. The said plant is going to be settled in Moscow region in one of the famous industrial areas. The layout design for factory building and production periphery has been planned to house two production lines both capable of attaining the same output at the same time. The first line will start production within the first quarter of 2005.


The adaptability of the line technology with ever-varying demands likely to emanate from the market in the future is a further absolute necessity - given the fact that Brückner lines have a life cycle of at least 25 years.
