More than 250 delegates from over 40 countries gathered in the fancy Marina Bay Sands convention center in Singapore and took the unique opportunity to get the latest updates on markets and technology trends from speakers along the value chain of the BOPP film industry.
Ever since this event has been held, Brückner Maschinenbau has given inspiring and trendsetting speeches – such as this year. Brückner Maschinenbau's Sales Director Markus Gschwandtner presented a well-received paper focusing on
Not surprisingly the topics were about the boost in efficiency and reduction of production costs in the commodities business and the move to higher value-added products in the specialty film area. Gschwandtner touched on both subjects with Brückner’s latest developments, such as a new platform of BO lines with speeds above 625 m/min or a new version of Brückners unrivaled LISIM® simultaneous stretching system with lower investment costs and lower energy consumption.
Gschwandtner also introduced Brückner Maschinenbau’s brand new Innovation Tech Center at their headquarters, which gives the unique opportunity of equipment tests under working conditions for new stretching line concepts.
Finally he presented plant audits and upgrades of existing equipment to provide more opportunities on existing customers’ assets – all performed by Brückner Servtec, the service arm within the Brückner Group.
The audience were impressed by the presentation and applauded after the closing movie which key message was: “Put people at the center of the activities since they are the major asset for innovative products”.
