Jiangsu Suqian Color Plastic and Brückner continue forming a perfect team

World’s largest BOPET film producer stays on track with another four lines

Established in 1991, Jiangsu Suqian Color Plastic Packing Co., Ltd. is meanwhile the largest manufacturer of BOPET films all over the world. From the very beginning the company took two major decisions: to count on the most efficient and productive film stretching lines and thus to team up with Brückner Maschinenbau. Today, in total 16 Brückner lines are successfully producing a wide variety of polyester films, ranging from thin packaging applications to thick added-value optical films. Recently, both companies expanded their relationship further by signing another four 8.7m wide packaging film lines.

As the majority of the past joint projects, the new package is also applying the direct film casting technology – directly connecting the poly-condensation plant to the film stretching line, without any main extrusion system. The upcoming four lines will thereby profit from the extremely successful direct film casting concept which was successfuly developed and elaborated together by Jiangsu Suqian Color Plastic and Brückner throughout the years.

Both teams have meanwhile perfected the integration of poly-condensation and stretching line – and Brückner’s advanced process automation ensures flexibility when it comes to product changes. Within the highly competitive BOPET markets this technology benefits Jiangsu Suqian Color Plastic in several ways: lower energy consumption and considerable savings in transport, logistics and personnel costs – a clear reduction of the overall production costs.
