Shuangliang Group commissions 6.4 m LISIM® BOPP capacitor film line
The Shuangliang Group has successfully commissioned its new 6.4 meter wide LISIM® BOPP capacitor film line, continuing a long‑standing and trust‑based partnership with Brückner Maschinenbau. As a customer who has relied on Brückner film stretching lines for many years, Shuangliang is now taking the next strategic step by bringing a Brückner PP‑C (polypropylene capacitor film) line into operation for the first time. With this start‑up, the company is deliberately expanding its portfolio beyond packaging films and entering the field of ultrathin technical films for capacitor applications. Brückner Maschinenbau warmly congratulates Shuangliang on this important milestone and sincerely thanks the entire team for the excellent and cooperative project execution.
The new line produces ultrathin polypropylene capacitor films for demanding applications in power electronics, renewable energy and e‑mobility. Film capacitors are a key component in areas such as photovoltaic inverters, wind power converters and electric vehicles, where high dielectric strength, low losses and compact designs are essential.
With its Linear Motor Simultaneous Stretching (LISIM®) technology, Brückner enables the reliable production of high‑quality capacitor films below 3 µm. The linear‑motor‑driven clip system offers exceptional process freedom, outstanding film uniformity and flexibility for processing advanced PP material concepts with enhanced electrical and thermal properties.
The project also reflects Brückner Maschinenbau’s commitment to supporting customers in technical film markets such as PP‑C, BSF or CCCF with application‑specific line concepts. In polypropylene capacitor films, Brückner offers both simultaneous stretching with LISIM® and sequential stretching technologies, providing customers with a broad portfolio to select the solution that best fits their application, strategy and market goals.
