Positive Vibe, Momentum and Continued Confidence in Growth

Plastindia 2026 once again highlighted the strong momentum of the plastics industry on the Indian subcontinent. In line with the positive vibe followed the “mother of free trade agreements” concluded between India & the EU, the PlastIndia Foundation announced a thriving doubling of the plastics demand of India in next 10 years.

In line, customers are increasingly demanding higher speeds and output for their production lines and continue to invest in highly sophisticated Brückner systems to meet these requirements. Well-developed infrastructure and a strong labor market provide ample room for further expansion and long-term growth.

As Asia’s largest plastics exhibition, Plastindia 2026 brought together more than 2,000 exhibitors and around 600,000 visitors, uniting global industry leaders, innovators, and buyers under one roof. The show proved once again to be the ideal platform for discovering the latest technologies, strengthening international networks, and exploring new opportunities in the booming Indian market – for packaging application and also latest technical applications.

To capture the spirit and scale of the event, our highlight video showcases key impressions from Plastindia 2026 — from cutting-edge technologies and customer discussions to the vibrant atmosphere on the exhibition floor

We have been witnessing long-lasting momentum on the Indian subcontinent for decades, and Plastindia 2026 once again clearly demonstrates this dynamic. We are very pleased to be part of this development.

Change in Sales Leadership for the Indian Team

Plastindia 2026 also marked an important transition within the Indian sales organization. The leadership of the Indian sales team is being handed over from Ghanshyam Shilamkar to Kavish Shah, ensuring continuity while setting the course for the next phase of growth.
