Mostly invisible, but always indispensable
Displays and screens, cell phones, electric vehicles, printed electronics, cable insulations, membrane switches, energy storage units – what do they all have in common? Without a variety of high-tech films such as optical, protective, capacitor, battery separator or composite current collector films, they wouldn't exist. And because many applications require films with minimum thickness while at the same time offering optical purity and clarity, isolating characteristics or mechanical stability (e.g. for EV applications) the highest demands are placed on production and the equipment used for it.
Chinese film producer Zhejiang Nanyang Huacheng Technology Co., Ltd. holds a leading position in the field of research and development, production and sales of polypropylene electronic film for capacitors, metallized film and other ultra-thin technical films for EV applications, maintaining a successful partnership history over decades with Brückner Maschinenbau. Latest highlight: The successful commissioning of a 6.4m wide, 300m/min fast PP capacitor film line – the last of a pack of eight.
The many joint projects with the customer in the recent past have this time led to a tremendous line start-up with just 18 minutes from extruder start to “good film on winder”. Congratulations to both teams!
