Brückner Receives Centralised Clearance for Export (CCL)
Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH and Brückner Servtec GmbH, headquartered in Siegsdorf, have reached an important milestone in international project logistics: both companies have successfully applied for and obtained authorisation for the customs procedure of Centralised Clearance for Export (CCL).
With this authorisation, Brückner is the first company permitted to use this customs procedure for exports from Slovakia. This sets a new benchmark in European export processing—particularly for complex plant and project business.

Direct Exports from the Topoľčany Site
The CCL authorisation enables Brückner to carry out direct exports from its Topoľčany site in Slovakia, while export declarations continue to be submitted centrally to the German customs authorities. As a result, the previously required physical transfer of goods to Germany is completely eliminated.
A key advantage lies in the optimisation of transport chains:
Large plant components no longer need to be transported by truck from Topoľčany to Germany (e.g. to Wilhelmshaven or Hamburg), but can instead be shipped directly via the port of Koper. This leads to significant savings in transport costs, lead times, and CO₂ emissions.
Efficiency Gains in Project and Truck-Based Business
Significant improvements are also achieved in traditional truck-based project business, for example towards Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, or Azerbaijan. In the past, goods were first transported to Germany and only exported from there. These costly pre-carriages are now completely eliminated.
In addition, Brückner will benefit from more favourable packaging costs in Slovakia. Goods that were previously packaged in Germany can now be prepared efficiently and cost-effectively directly on site.

A Pioneering Role for Customs Authorities and Industry
A special aspect of this project is the close cooperation with the authorities:
With this authorisation, the Topoľčany customs office assumes a pilot role and becomes the first customs office in Slovakia to apply this new procedure.
Special thanks go to Andreas Wenzl, Head of Transportation, who has intensively addressed the challenges of this topic over the past year and, in close coordination with the German customs authorities, created the conditions necessary for this authorisation.
Conclusion
With the Centralised Clearance for Export (CCL), Brückner sustainably strengthens its competitiveness, optimises international supply chains, and sets new standards in European project logistics. At the same time, the company underlines its innovative strength—not only in machinery engineering, but also in global supply chain design.
